Coaches' Corner

Welcome to the Coaches Corner

The mission of the hockey coaching director is to create a positive, inclusive, and competitive environment that fosters player development both on and off the ice. I work to guide and support our coaching staff, ensuring consistent skill progression across all age levels while promoting respect, teamwork, and sportsmanship. I aim to design and implement structured training programs that balance technical, tactical, and character growth while nurturing each athlete’s love for the game. Ultimately, I strive to build a strong hockey community grounded in safety, player well-being, and lifelong enjoyment of the sport.

4.USA Hockey SafeSport Training

  • ALL Head and Assistant Coaches, Managers, Locker Room Volunteers and Board Members need to complete the USA Hockey SAFESPORT online training.  SafeSport training is free, and in some cases all that is required is a quick "refresher" course that can be completed in 15-20 minutes.

5.Age Specific Modules

  • You must complete an Age Specific Module for EACH playing level you will be coaching. If you have completed an online specific age module in a previous year, you do not have to re-take that module.
  • Coaching Age Module status can be found in your USA Hockey coaching profile.

6.USA Hockey CEP Training (Required for ALL Travel coaches)

  • If your CEP is expiring you MUST find the next available class online and complete prior to 12/31/2026.

  •  Review your current and required CEP level within your USA Hockey coaching profile.
