Season Expectations
Welcome to the 2025-2026 season of the Tucson Junior Roadrunners hockey program!
Ice touches for the travel program largely depend on how many games we schedule, but the target is for approximately 40 weekday practices in Tucson, a handful of weekend practices in Tucson, and 8-10 home games in Tucson.
Some things that we plan to be the same from last year:
8U House and Travel will be in a combined large group practice in our first session each evening Monday and Wednesday at 6:00pm.
The 12U Travel teams will have their own shared practice time separate from House teams.
Some times may vary from expectation depending on our ice limitations on a given day/week.
Additional practices will be available on weekends at TCC as the game schedule allows.
Some things that we plan to be different from last year:
10U Travel A & B will have a shared half-ice practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00pm.
12U Travel A & B will move from M/W at 7:15pm to Tuesday and Thursday at 7:15pm.
14U Travel will be in a shared practice on Mondays with 14UH/HS Development on Mondays and have a 3/4 ice practice shared with the goalie group on Wednesdays.
Goalie sessions will usually share ice with 10U House and 14U House/HS Development on Wednesdays. On some weeks we may move goalie practice to Fridays with 12U House and 14U House/HS Development.
